Advertising.com to offer wireless incentive program

Published on .

Internet direct marketer Advertising.com has found a way to send direct offers to wireless devices. On Feb. 1 it launched AdBroadcast, a service offering consumers the chance to earn revenue in exchange for receiving targeted marketing messages to wireless phones, pagers or other devices that can accept text messages. After registering for the service, users earn between five and 50 credits (worth about 1 cent) for each message received. The points are redeemable toward a monthly service fee, airtime charges or cash.
