Advertising Week: Two for Tuesday

At 9 a.m. on Sept. 27 Advertising Age brings Madison & Vine to New York for a provocative discussion of the direction of branded entertainment. Emmy-winning Harvard law professor Arthur Miller will host a Socratic debate between some of the leading executives in the space such as Group M's Irwin Gotlieb; Debbie Myers from Taco Bell; General Motors' Brent Dewar; Reveille's Ben Silverman, TiVo's Tom Rogers and Pepsi's Frank Cooper. The second annual Creativity No Spot Short Film Festival unspools at 4:30p.m. Sept. 27 at the Landmark Sunshine Theatre in New York. No Spot is a showcase of the best short films from ad-industry talent. This year, the festival will also feature branded content. No Spot will kick off with a keynote from entertainment pioneer Mark Cuban and a panel discussion, Storytelling 2.0: The New World of Production, which looks at the evolution in the ways and means of creating and producing and distributing marketing communications.
