American Home Products' Whitehall-Robins' unit says it has convinced CBS and ABC-TV to pull spots for Children's Tylenol that suggest ibuprofen may cause stomach upset in children. Johnson & Johnson's McNeil Consumer Products Co. markets the Tylenol line. Whitehall-Robins markets Children's Advil with ibuprofen. The spot, from Saatchi & Saatchi's Healthcare Connection, puts J&J in the unusual position of attacking an ingredient it also separately markets, Children's Motrin. Network executives were not immediately available for comment.
