Was 2005's stock market ruled by the bulls or the bears? Actually, more the blahs as the AdMarket 50fell 3.3% while the Wilshire 5000 rose 4.6%. Marketers saw 11 stocks advance and 15 decline; agencies had three winners and three losers. Media stocks were the big losers-14 down, three up by the single digits-with one grand slam, Google, more than doubling in price. The recovery is getting old: 28 AdMarket stocks have fallen since the ad recovery began in May '02.
