Aegis reports results

Telemarketing company Aegis Communications Group, Irving, Texas, reported a net loss of approximately $2.5 million for 1998, compared to a net loss of $1 million for 1997, excluding restructuring and other non-recurring charges of approximately $8.4 million. The loss was attributed to lower volume of business from its two largest telecommunications company clients, as well as a 20% decline in marketing research revenue. Revenue for 1998 increased to $228 million, up 70% compared to 1997.
