BOSTON-AFLC Consulting, a strategic marketing management division of Arnold Fortuna Lawner & Cabot, changed its name May 1 to Meridian.

The consultancy also announced the appointment of three key employees to new posts: Stephanie Bigusiak, 43, has been named managing director, from senior manager of corporate marketing, Data General, Westborough, Mass.; Brendan Collins, 40, was also named managing director, from account principal, Duval Woglom Breuckner & Partners; and Gretchen Dock, 43, was named director, from director of marketing communications, Bachman Information Systems, Burlington.

In addition, Meridian said it has become the first consulting agency on four new technology accounts with total billings of more than $1 million: Banyan Systems, Westborough; MCS, a division of Nynex Corp. in White Plains, N.Y.; Gupta Corp., Menlo Park, Calif.; and IMRS, Stamford, Conn.
