Published on .

The Illinois Lottery, Springfield, narrowed its review to four Chicago agencies. Going after the estimated $30 million account are BBDO Worldwide, DDB Worldwide, Ogilvy & Mather and J. Walter Thompson USA. The agencies will compete in a marketing and creative shoot-out, with a winner expected by the end of October. The incumbent was Foote, Cone & Belding, which got the account three years ago when parent company True North Communications bought lottery agency Bayer Bess Vanderwarker.
