(May 29, 2001) -- Interactive shop Agency.com, New York, and Sydney, Australia-based marketing communications firm the Clemenger Communications Network announced today they have formed Agency Interactive to handle e-business in Australia.

The joint venture unites two companies that are both associated with Omnicom Group.

Clemenger is minority-owned by Omnicom through the BBDO Worldwide network, while Agency.com is part of Seneca Investments LLC, a new e-services company jointly owned by Omnicom and investment firm Pegasus Partners II.

The new company will offer interactive strategy, branding and technology and has an additional office in Melbourne, Australia. -- Adrienne Mand
