DDB Worldwide tapped four executives to add the title of worldwide brand planning director: Francoise Bonnal, co-managing director in DDB's Paris office; Jim Crimmins, managing partner and exec VP-strategic planning and research, Chicago; Paul Feldwidk, executive planning director, BMP DDB, London; and Ruth Parr, managing partner-director of account planning, Dallas.

Foote, Cone & Belding, New York, acquired youth-oriented ad shop McElroy Communications, Newport Beach, Calif. The agency will be renamed McElroy FCB, and current management will remain in place.

The Pittsburgh office of Ketchum Advertising said it's being sold by Omnicom Group to Earle Palmer Brown, New York, and will be renamed Egan/St. James.
