AGENCY OFFICE TO SERVE AIRLINE

By Published on .

MINNEAPOLIS-Valentine McCormick Ligibel will open an office here in mid-October to serve its largest client, Northwest Airlines.

The Kansas City, Mo.-based operation is one of Northwest's creative shops, handling primarily broadcast creative and some collateral marketing.

John Valentine, agency principal, said up to 20 people were being interviewed to head account service for the office in the Minnesota Lumber Exchange Building, 10 S. 5th St., 55402. It is being set up in Minneapolis to be close to commercial production facilities.

Up to eight people will be hired at the office, which Mr. Valentine said might pursue non-Northwest clients in the future.
