Agency sought for Red Lion

Doubletree Hotels is seeking an agency for the 16 Red Lions the company did not convert to Doubletree's budget brand. Doubletree purchased Red Lion June 9 and immediately converted 40 units to Doubletree. Greg Malark, VP-marketing for Doubletree, said YPM Inc., the New York agency that currently handles local advertising for individual Doubletree hotels, will be given an opportunity to bid for Red Lion's account. Red Lion will have a separate, as yet undetermined budget from Doubletree.
