Agency wins virtual product placement patent

Digital Marketing Communications, Morristown, N.J., a unit of DVCi Technologies, an Internet services company, will be awarded a patent May 9 for virtual product placement on the Internet. The patent covers product and/or advertising message that are inserted into interactive content such as music videos, soap operas, interactive game and interactive TV.
