Air Canada, Montreal, which earlier this year acquired rival Canadian Airlines, plans a rebranding of the merged company during the first half of next year. A spokesman said Air Canada is in the process of reviewing its product, but it's too early to tell what the rebranding might include. Air Canada will serve as the name of the merged operation. Ads in Canada are focusing on the two carriers' integration efforts. No ads touting the merger are planned for the U.S. in the near term, the spokesman said.
