New airline debuts ads

National Airlines, Las Vegas, a new low-cost carrier funded partly by casinos and set to begin flying late next month, launched local TV and print ads in its three debut markets: Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Chicago. National, with its theme "Everything's better up here,'' began taking reservations this week. E.B. Lane & Associates, Phoenix, handles.
