Alexa Research reveals new public Web site

Published on .

Alexa Research, a division of Alexa Internet that studies trends in behavior and content on the Web, launched a new site, alexaresearch.com, offering extensive, free site traffic ranking information. Site rankings and competitive research can be determined based on usage in 20 different countries. This information is derived from Alexa Internet's panel of 500,000 users, 25% of whom are at work and 75% at home and is two-thirds U.S.-based, one-third international. The site also provides links to the Alexa 100,000, which details information on the Web's top 100,000 sites, on a paid-subscriber basis.
