Alma Media sells station

Published on .

HELSINKI--Publicly listed media company Alma Media has sold its 80% stake in Finnish commercial radio group Oulun Seudun Paikallisradio Oy and radio channel Alex to Nyt Radio. Separately, Alma Media sold Radio Kolme Oy, based in Helsinki. The divestment, which sees the sale of all the company's radio interests, comes amid a rash of mergers and acquisitions on the Finnish commercial radio market. Alma will in future concentrate on its newspaper and commercial TV operations.
