Amazon.com goes on shopping spree

Expanding beyond its online bookselling roots, Amazon.com bought Internet companies PlanetAll and Junglee Corp. for about $260 million in stock. The online bookseller will pay about $87 million in stock for PlanetAll, a free appointment management service, and about $173 million in stock for Junglee, an online shopping service and software provider.
