Published on .

American Interactive Media, a New York-based Internet service provider, and e-commerce site Shopping.com have signed a strategic marketing agreement in which American Interactive Media will develop an Internet access service under the Shopping.com brand. Under the agreement, American Interactive will create a Shopping.com portal page with direct links to the Shopping.com site and give Shopping.com prominent banner placement. In addition, Shopping.com will be the primary e-commerce provider for its network of co-branded ISP sites to be launched this year. In exchange, Shopping.com will market the access service on its home page, offering customers a $9.95 monthly introductory offer.
