American Media narrows review to 5 agencies

American Media is going into a second phase in its $50 million review for its Enquirer and Star tabloids. Following the first round of pitches, Chairman-CEO David Pecker has asked participating agencies to submit more creative. DiNoto/Lee, New York, has opted out. Others continuing are Mad Dogs & Englishmen, Mezzina/Brown & Partners, Arnell Group and Spier.
