Most Popular, an online greeting card and content company and a subsidiary of American Greetings Corp., and online gift currency provider announced an alliance that will blend online greetings with online gift currency, creating an instant gift package for consumers to send to friends and loved ones. By integrating each other's offerings on their respective sites, and are enabling consumers to combine gifts of Flooz with their electronic greetings. The companies plan to extend this capability to other co-branded sites and AOL properties in the near future. In addition, will now become the premier electronic greetings brand on, where users can also send online greetings with Flooz gift currency. Financial terms were not disclosed. To promote the new offering of greeting cards sent with Flooz, between now and March 30, 2000, plans to reward all new and renewing subscribers with $5 to $10 gifts of Flooz. offers a large assortment of free online greetings, but subscribers ($19.95 six months; $4.95 for one month) have access to the complete offering of more than 10,000 online greetings, free specialty paper and other membership benefits.
