Ameritech narrows review

Ameritech Corp. on Wednesday narrowed the review for its estimated $100 million account to five finalists: Ammirati Puris Lintas and Lowe & Partners, both New York; BBDO, Leo Burnett Co., both Chicago; and Campbell Mithun Esty, Minneapolis. Among those eliminated from the review include Fallon McElligott, Minneapolis, and DDB Needham, Chicago, which both currently handle assignments for Ameritech, including corporate advertising and small business and new media services.
