AT&T hypes WorldNet

AT&T Corp. is in the midst of launching a massive direct mail campaign to 10 million of its 80 million long-distance customers for its WorldNet service. Boasting 600,000 subscribers, WorldNet launched last March and has extended its offer of five free hours per month through the end of this March. Bronner Slosberg Humphrey, Boston, handles the camapaign, which is targeted to people who already own computers and modems.
