New AmWest logo

Published on .

America West Airlines, Phoenix, has launched a new corporate identity, including a new paint scheme for the exterior of its fleet. The first plane sporting pearl white and turquoise colors with an oversized red signature and logo will enter passenger service tomorrow. Repainting the entire fleet will take about two years. The zigzag design motif is representative of Native American arts from the Southwest. Seattle Design Group created the aircraft design.
