ANA taps GE's Costello

The Association of National Advertisers at its annual meeting in Boca Raton, Fla., this week named Richard Costello, manager of corporate marketing communications for General Electric Co., its new chairman of the board. Mr. Costello, a 15-year veteran of GE, last year served as ANA's board vice chairman. Also named were Ronald O. Cox, group VP-marketing at Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co., to ANA vice chairman, and James Garrity, VP-communications, Compaq Computer Corp., to treasurer.
