Analgesic brand sold

Published on .

U.S. rights to Percogesic brand analgesics have been sold to Medtech, Jackson Hole, Wyo., by Roche-Syntex Health Products Co., the successor to the previous joint venture between Procter & Gamble Co. and Syntex Health Products. Percogesic represents about $5 million in retail sales, said Medtech, which last year acquired 11 brands from American Home Products. Privately held Medtech describes itself as a niche-brand marketer of high-profit products.
