Andy Berlin exits Dole's campaign team

Published on .

Andy Berlin is out of the Dole presidential campaign, just as the Clinton and Dole campaigns come out with their first big ad blitzes. Mr. Berlin, president of Fallon McElligott Berlin, said he had decided to "deploy our people on other clients. We picked up a bunch of new business." That includes Coca-Cola Co., which confirmed Friday it awarded its $30 million Georgia Coffee account in Japan to FMB from McCann-Erickson Worldwide (AA, Aug. 19). Coca-Cola said its $15 million PowerAde account in the U.S. remains at McCann's Seattle office, though executives close to Coca-Cola said PowerAde will officially move to FMB shortly.
