For its first ad campaign specifically targeting kids, the Old Navy chain enlisted "Ren & Stimpy Show" creator John Kricfalusi to direct two retro-'50s animated TV spots for big-pocket jeans for boys and flare jeans for girls. In this commercial, a girl is transformed into a rock star with the aid of her $19.95 Old Navy flare jeans. The spots, created in-house, augment the chain's back-to-school campaign.
