AOL, Autoweb form technology, marketing alliance

America Online and Autoweb.com, a consumer automotive Internet service, inked a four-year infrastructure, technology and marketing alliance under which Autoweb will license its automotive content, data and technology to AOL. Autoweb's content and new configuration and comparison services will be integrated into automotive areas across AOL under Powered by Autoweb branding messages. Autoweb will also have a presence on the AOL brands under AOL's Auto Channel strategy.
