AOL discusses its TV plans

America Online said it is investigating an AOL-TV type of interactive TV programming and technology, pursuant to its acquisition of enhanced TV company NetChannel earlier this month. Responding to a published news report, a spokeswoman said AOL believes people will connect in a variety of ways in the future and AOL wants to be on all of them; therefore, AOL on the TV would not be the same as AOL on the computer, she said.
