AOL Europe plans to triple subscriber base

AOL Europe, the online service owned by Bertelsmann and America Online, has 200,000 subscribers and will increase its customer based three-fold in 1997, Bertelsmann executives said at the company's annual results meeting.

SpryNet to offer online course.

CompuServe's Internet Division said that SpryNet, its Internet access service, will sponsor free online courses and workshops through Spectrum Virtual University. The courses include, "Constructing a Home on the Web for the HTML Challenged" and "Telecommuting: Building the Virtual Office of the Future..
