AOL and Joe Boxer bow a labor of love

Published on .

America Online launched Love AOL as a locale for romance-seekers who want to cultivate friendship and romance both on and offline. The area offers personal ads, message boards and advice columns as well as monthly vacation prizes from Preview Vacations. But for advertisers, this Love has a price: Site sponsorship costs $25,000.

Separately, Joe Boxer also sponsors love, marrying a South Carolina couple on April 3 below its digital billboard in New York's Times Square. The groom proposed to the bride on an e-mail message broadcast on the billboard.
