AOL licks stamps deal

America Online will sell U.S. postage stamps online through Stamps.com, a Santa Monica, Calif., company that makes Postage Server technology.AOL will distribute and market Stamps.com Internet Postage services across several AOL brands in early 1999. As part of the deal Stamps.com will offer AOL and CompuServe members, and AOL.COM and Digital City users, free postage software that will them to print postage directly onto envelopes, labels and business documents using a regular printer.
