AOL Mexico unwraps marketing alliances with top retailers

AOL Mexico has created marketing alliances with Blockbuster, Sony, Tower Records and Wal-Mart Mexico to help market the AOL service to Mexican consumers. The company hopes these alliances will aid its subscriber acquisition campaign, which involves major displays in popular retail outlets and special initiatives such as mass mailings and distribution of AOL-Mexico software to targeted segments of the Mexican consumer market.
