Published on .

America Online has redesigned its games channel (keyword: games) dividing it into three new categories: online game shows, with free games; games parlor, charging 99 cents an hour; and Xtreme games, costing $1.99 per hour. The games channel will continue to offer gaming forums and news, including PC Games News, Video Games News and AOL Games Insider. In other AOL news, the company joined with iQVC to offer an inside peek at the online retailers' annual shoe sale to benefit breast cancer research, along with special content on AOL's health channel and its women's destination, Electra.
