AOL revenues soar 275%

Published on .

America Online reported revenues of $151.9 million for its fourth quarter, ended June 30, up 275% from the previous year. Net income grew more than six-fold, to $6.2 million from $905,000 a year ago. For fiscal 1995, AOL reported a net loss of $33.6 million on revenues of $394.3 million, compared with a loss of $2.6 million and revenues of $115.7 million the previous year. The loss is attributed to charges and expenses associated with several acquisitions AOL made in the past year.
