AOL's membership rolls swell beyond 22 million

America Online on March 21 said membership in its service has surpassed 22 million. AOL subscribers now average nearly 65 minutes online daily; new features such as Shop@AOL, My Calendar and You've Got Pictures are credited with bringing in new subscribers. In related news, AOL has launched Digital City 2000, a revision and expansion of its local city guides. Digital City also will expand from its current 60 market to more than 200 and roll out Digital City Wireless.
