AOL shifts marketing execs

America Online named Jonathan Bulkeley to the new post of managing director, U.K., for the Bertelsmann-AOL online joint venture. Mr. Bulkeley had been VP-business development at AOL, where his responsibilities included selling ad packages to marketers. Mr. Bulkeley is succeeded by Mark Minkin, formerly senior VP-new media services at AOL-owned Redgate Communications. Also at the Bertelsmann-AOL venture: Bertrand Le Ficher to managing director, France; and Jan Henric Buettner and Andreas von Blottnitz to managing directors, Germany. The service will compete with offerings from Europe Online and CompuServe, among others.
