APL picks up Burger King in fifth market

Published on .

BUDAPEST -- Burger King has awarded its advertising account in Hungary to Ammirati Puris Lintas, Budapest. Partners/ JWT, the incumbent agency, and Grey and Ogilvy & Mather also pitched. APL already handles the Burger King account in the U.S., the U.K., Philippines and Thailand.

"We selected Ammirati Puris Lintas because of the superiority of their strategic thinking, and the first class quality of their creative, media, and integrated communication proposals," says Laszlo Sumegi, chief operational director of Fusion Investment/Burger King.
