APL reports 22% revenue increase for 1998

MEXICO CITY--Ammirati Puris Lintas Mexico reported billings increased to $51 million in 1998, up 22% in peso terms from the previous year.

The agency says it has won five new accounts so far this year: Unilever's Primavera, Capullo, Magnum and Mordisko brands as well as the Latam regional coordination for General Electric. Over the past 12 months, other new accounts included new local telecom carrier Axtel, Chevrolet's Geo and accountancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.
