Apple eWorld speaks

Published on .

More hints of the next generation of eWorld are coming to light. Apple Computer today introduced "Speak," a feature enabling users to listen to conversation in a live chat room. The feature is part of the online service's next operating version, dubbed Golden Gate, due out later this quarter. Golden Gate will include World Wide Web access, an electronic mail agent and more multimedia capabilities. Separately, Apple launched a family-oriented ad campaign for eWorld, highlighting the online service's user-friendliness. The ads were created by Wunderman Cato Johnson, San Francisco.
