The switch was expected as part of a North American realignment. Earlier this summer, Apple Computer Corp. of California, parent company of Apple Canada, gave its account to TBWA Chiat/Day in Los Angeles. BBDO Worldwide resigned the business when the marketer called the review in June. Chiat/Day had worked with Apple in the 1980s.
TBWA is also tipped to win Apple business in Europe and in Latin America. The computer company is looking for a standardized global campaign.
