AppNet IPO expected

E-commerce and Internet provider AppNet, Bethesda, Md., is set to go public June 18. The company filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering of 6 million shares. In May it set a price of $12 to $14 a share. Credit Suisse First Boston, Hambrecht & Quist, the Robinson-Humphrey Co., and Charles Schwab & Co. will handle the offering.

AppNet owns Internet developers and marketing companies including i33 Communications, New York, Internet Outfitters, Santa Monica, Calif., and Sigma6 Interactive Media, Detroit.
