April start for horse racing ads

National Thoroughbred Racing Association, Lexington, Ky., in April will break a campaign to enhance the sport's image. From Merkley Newman Harty, New York, the ads carry the tagline "Go, baby, go." TV spots air for the four weeks preceding the May 2 Kentucky Derby. Spending is estimated at $15 million.
