Aptex releases enhanced intelligence software

Aptex Software is releasing a new version of its SelectCast neural network software, best known as the intelligence behind Infoseek's popular UltraMatch ad targeting service. Aptex claims the software raises average clickthrough rates 100% or more and that the new version, SelectCast 2.1, makes strong predictions of surfers' age and gender. Other users of the product include Excite, DoubleClick and MatchLogic.
