ARF award to Wrigley

Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. won the David Ogilvy Research Award Trophy at the 1996 Advertising Research Foundation annual conference in New York. Wrigley won for its Winterfresh gum campaign created by BBDO Worldwide, Chicago. Other finalists for the award, which honors creative use of research in marketing campaigns, were the California Milk Advisory Board, for the "Got Milk?" campaign by Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco; and General Motors Corp.'s Oldsmobile Aurora campaign from Leo Burnett USA, Chicago.
