Argentine creative named head of DDB Argentina

BUENOS AIRES-- DDB Worldwide, Buenos Aires, has poached Rodrigo Figueroa Reyes from Pragma/FCB to become its president and executive creative director, according to Darryl Lindberg, president of DDB Latin America.

Mr. Figueroa Reyes, who served as a judge at Cannes last year, has been executive creative director at Pragma/FCB since 1997.

DDB Argentina was created early this year following an equity buyout of Rainuzzo DDB. With 1999 billings of $35 million, clients include Clorox, Danone, Ekono, American Airlines, Johnson & Johnson, Compaq Computer Corp., Michelin, Mitsubishi, Panasonic and ING.

DDB Latin America's regional clients include McDonald's Corp., American Airlines, Mobil, Compaq Computer Corp., Spain's Telefonica and Italian dairy marketer Parmalat.
