(July 27, 2001) -- Citizens Financial Corp., Providence, R.I., has expanded its relationship with Havas Advertising's Arnold Worldwide, Boston, giving it advertising work for banks in Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Citizens, which tapped Arnold in February for its New England work, last year spent $5.8 million on measured media for its consumer services, according to Taylor Nelson Sofres' CMR. When Arnold won the account, billings were estimated to reach as much as $50 million this year. To avoid a conflict, Arnold resigned the $30 million PNC Bank account, which it had since 1999.
