Art.com, a site where consumers can buy unframed prints and other artwork, is boosting its online advertising budget seven times over its 1998 budget. Art.com, recently purchased by Getty Images, is increasing its advertising on America Online, Excite, DoubleClick sites and Yahoo! It currently sells more than 100,000 images.
