Asia's Star TV launches online campaign planner

Published on .

Rupert Murdoch's Asian satellite network, Star TV, has launched a cyber-effort it says is tailor-made for agencies and advertisers. Star TV's VP-client services, Toby Hayward, says one of the aims of the network's new Web site is to offer information to advertising planners in the U.S. and Europe who have no access to the Asian channels.

The network is particularly excited about the potential of the Web site's Interactive Campaign Planner, which offers guidelines to the costs of running a campaign on the Star TV channels. Information offered includes special offers, sponsorship packages, rate cards, advertiser lists, program schedules, top shows and research summaries.
