The Advertiser Syndicated Television Association said it will launch an integrated marketing campaign designed to call attention to syndication's ability to fulfill major marketers' needs for a broad advertising vehicle in a fast-changing TV industry. The initiative includes steps to improve the reporting systems for measuring TV syndication audiences and an effort to speed the flow of commercial materials. An ad campaign featuring a new ASTA logo design will run in trade publications and will be supported by a direct mail effort, a new ASTA Traffic Guide and an expanded ASTA presence at the upcoming National Association of Television Programming Executives conference in Las Vegas.
